Our Founder
Mr Alex Ong Say Toh
Mr Alex Ong Say Toh, an experienced professional with a long-standing career in the medical industry, is the founder of Sutra Medi-Environ Sdn Bhd, which he established in 2005. Before launching the company, he honed his skills as an engineer at Toshiba and as a project manager at Abex Medical. Since embarking on his journey in 1984, Mr Alex has devoted himself entirely to the medical sector.
Throughout his years of experience, Mr Alex noticed a prevalent occurrence of spinal diseases among adults in Malaysia, especially those over 40. He observed that many patients grappled with chronic pain daily, a symptom of the country’s healthcare system’s technological inadequacy.
Motivated to address this issue, Mr Alex spearheaded the creation of Sutra Medi-Environ Sdn Bhd. The company’s primary goal was to import cutting-edge instruments from countries renowned for their exceptional healthcare systems.
Today, Sutra Medi-Environ Sdn Bhd continues to deliver the finest medical solutions to healthcare professionals throughout Malaysia. We remain unwavering in our commitment to equipping clinicians with state-of-the-art instruments, guaranteeing patients receive the best care possible and find relief from their ailments.
